Directions
to the DuPage County Fairgrounds From
the Wheaton METRA Train Station
Metra is a commuter rail service
which runs trains throughout the Chicago area.
The DuPage County Fairgrounds
is llocated approximately 1.34 miles from the Wheaton
METRA train station. On a nice day it's a
pleasant walk from the train station to the fairgrounds.
The city of Wheaton is a very nice, upscale, suburban
town.
To take Metra to Wheaton
use the Union
Pacific West Line.
The West Line runs out of Ogilvie
station in downtown
Chicago and terminates in Elburn, Illinois, approximately
55 miles. The city of Wheaton is about 30 miles
west of Chicago by train.
One of the best parts of taking Metra to the show
(besides the fact it is a train) is that on weekends
Metra has a $5
weekend pass that offers unlimited
rides on both Saturday and Sunday.
